Bee Season
Bee Season by Myla Goldberg
Bryan has told me for several years that I would like this book so when I needed a book to read after Shopgirl it sounded good. It’s taken me a little while to get into it. It doesn’t help that I’m also reading Consuming Kids at the same time, which I’m fascinated by. Bee Season is good, it’s just taking me a while to read.
November 20 – I really enjoyed this book. It took me a while to get through the first 100 pages but once I got past that I really flew. I almost found Eliza’s mother and brother to be more interesting than Eliza, the main character. I’m not sure if that was intentional on the author’s part or not.
