Our Sometime Sister

Our Sometime Sister by Norah Labiner
I am reading this and The Soul of Money at the same time. I have had this book since it first came out in 1998, but haven’t read it until now. This is one of those books that when I start to read it I wonder why it took me so long to finally get around to reading it. It’s really an interesting book. I’m nearly 1/2 way through and just started it a week ago (it’s over 400 pages). There are several stories taking place in the book – first there is the “author’s” story (I have author in quotes because the narrator of the book is writing a book and you get her story mixed in between the story that she’s writing) and the story that the “author” is writing.
21 February 2004 – I finished this last week. The last 100 pages really dragged. The book started to lose my interest, but I made myself finish it.
